British Superlite Championship 2024 rule changes

There are a number of technical rule changes for the British Superlite Championship 2024.

The 2024 season started on  Saturday 30th March at Three Sisters Circuit and will end with round 8 on 20th October at Betteshanger Park, Kent.

A summary of the key changes to the rules are here:

DIFFERENTIALS

Differentials can now be fitted to all Superlite cars, these must be fitted and approved by the manufacturer Superlite Motorsport Ltd.

ANTI ROLL BARS

Anti roll bars can be added to Superlite cars if fitted and approved by the manufacturer Superlite Motorsport Ltd.

TYRES

All S10 Superlites must run the controlled Hoosier tyres, supplied by Superlite Motorsport only.

S6 and S9 Superlite cars can continue to run their Avon 13″ tyres for the reminder of the season or can run the new Hoosier controlled tyre. All S6 and S9 Superlites must run the controlled Hoosier tyres from the beginning of the 2025 season.

ELECTRONICS AND IGNITION

No electronic ignition or ECU changes are allowed.  Your CDI box/ECU is subject to random testing / swapping at any point during the season to prevent any tampering.  Original part numbers and bar code stickers must be retained.  Any replacement or spare unit must be sourced from the manufacturer Superlite Motorsport Ltd.  ECU sealing is required on all S10 Superlite engines.  Quick shift devices are allowed with electronic systems  that must be part of the steering wheel, for example buttons or paddles.
